Will it match my other furniture? Probably not perfectly. It’s natural wood. The colour changes slightly depending on the light and the tree it came from. But that’s why it looks good. Mixing tones is better than having a room that looks like a showroom set.

Does it come in a box for me to build? No. I hate flat-pack as much as you do. These come pre-assembled. All you have to do is get it through the door.

What happens if I scratch the top? You can sand it. That’s the beauty of solid timber. You can’t do that with a cheap laminate. If you’re handy with a bit of sandpaper and some oil, you can make it look new again in twenty minutes.

Why is it more expensive than the ones on the high street? Because I’m not selling you sawdust held together with hope. You’re paying for the timber and the fact that you won’t have to replace it in three years.
