When will my table arrive? Standard delivery takes up to five business days, and we will send you full tracking details. If you opt for premium white glove delivery, we will call you to arrange a specific day that suits your schedule.

Does it need regular oiling? Our lacquered tables do not need regular oiling. If you choose a natural oiled finish, rub some clear wax or furniture oil on it once a year to keep the timber from drying out in a warm house.

Is it heavy to move around? Yes, it’s solid timber. Do not try to carry it up or down hallways on your own unless you fancy an expensive trip to your chiropractor.

Can I put hot mugs down on it? No, don’t do that. Heat and moisture will leave white rings on the timber finish very quickly, so make sure you use a protective coaster.

How do I know if this console table will fit my narrow hallway? Grab a tape measure and mark out the 35cm depth on your floor. You need at least 90cm of walking space left over between the table edge and the opposite wall, otherwise you’ll be squeezing past it every day.

How do I mix this oak table with my existing darker furniture? Don’t try to match them perfectly because you’ll fail. Just let the different wood tones sit together naturally; a bit of contrast actually looks better and feels more lived-in than trying to make everything look identical.

How do I make a narrow entryway look larger with a console table? Hang a plain, simple mirror directly above the table frame. It bounces light around the tight space and stops a narrow hallway from feeling like a dark tunnel.
