Look, I am not going to sit here and tell you that a bit of furniture will change your life. It won’t. It is a surface to put your tea on or a place to chuck your keys so you do not lose them for the third time this week. Most of the stuff you see online these days is just sawdust and glue with a picture of wood stuck on top. It is rubbish. If you want something that lasts longer than a ham sandwich, you need to stop buying flat-pack junk.
