Why a decent foot stool is worth the bother
Look, I’ve spent more years than I care to admit in the workshop and I’ve seen every kind of cheap, flat-pack rubbish you can imagine. People come in complaining their furniture has fallen apart after six months. I usually tell them the same thing. If you buy something made of glue and sawdust, don’t be surprised when it gives up the ghost. Foot stools are no different. They get kicked, sat on by kids, and used as a makeshift table for a brew. They need to be solid.
