Get your tape measure out before you buy one of these. They take up a lot of floor space, and you need to be sure you have the actual wall width to handle it.
It is a big piece of wood, not a delicate ornament.
You will find plenty of room inside the doors to hide the plastic clutter, game consoles, and the tangle of dust-gathering wires. We do not use thin, flimsy plywood for the backboards either. We cut proper cable holes directly through the solid oak back panels so you do not have to ruin the unit with your own drill.
It will scratch if your kids drag metal toys across it, because it is real timber, not laminate plastic. But unlike plastic, you can actually sand a scratch out of real wood and make it look decent again.

How do I clean my oak TV stand?
Use a dry microfibre cloth to wipe off the dust. Keep wet wipes and chemical sprays away from it, or you will ruin the protective finish.
How long will it take to arrive?

Do I need to wax the wood?
Yes, rub some clear wax or oil into it every six months. It takes ten minutes and stops the timber from drying out and cracking.
Should I keep the unit away from radiators?
Yes. Do not put solid timber right next to a hot radiator or fireplace, or the heat will cause the wood to warp and split.
Will the colour of the oak change?
It will. Natural oak slowly darkens and deepens in colour as it gets exposed to sunlight, which is just what real timber does.

How wide does a TV stand need to be for a 65 inch screen?
A 65-inch screen is roughly 145cm wide. You need a unit that is at least 150cm to 160cm wide so the screen does not hang over the edges and get knocked.
Does the unit come flat-packed?
No, it comes fully built. We glue and join these in the workshop so you do not have to waste your weekend crying over a hex key.
Are there knots or marks in the timber?
Yes, it is a tree. Every unit has different grain patterns, small knots, and colour shifts, which is how you know it is not plastic.
Can it hold a heavy soundbar and gaming consoles?
Easily. Solid timber will not sag under the weight of heavy amplifiers, massive soundbars, or multiple consoles.

How do I mix this oak unit with other wood colours in my living room?
Do not try to match everything perfectly or your room will look like a cheap showroom. Spread the different woods out, or put a rug down to separate the unit from your floor.
Will a large TV stand make my narrow room look tiny?
It might if you buy a solid block. Choose a unit with legs so you can see the floor underneath, which tricks your brain into thinking there is more space.
How do I fix minor scratches on the wood?
Rub a bit of furniture wax into the scratch with a soft cloth. If it is a deeper scratch, sand it gently in the direction of the grain first, then wax it.
