This rustic oak dining chair isn’t like that. It is heavy, solid, and built like a tank.

We build these with solid oak and some real oak veneer because we want them to last. Wood has knots, grain variations, and colour differences. If you want something that looks uniform and plastic, go buy plastic.

This wood will scratch if your kids throw toys at it, but that just adds to the character.

Get your tape measure out before you order. At 105cm tall, these aren’t small chairs. They take up space, and you need to make sure they fit under your current table.

They arrive pre-assembled. We do the glueing and jointing in the workshop because flat-pack chairs always end up squeaking.

You must order a minimum of two. We don’t ship them singly because it makes no sense to send one chair in a massive box.

Yes, natural timber reacts to sunlight. The oak will mature and deepen in colour slightly over the years, which is completely normal.

A light application of clear furniture wax once or twice a year is plenty. It keeps the timber hydrated and helps protect against spills.

What should I do if I spill water on it?
Mop it up straight away. While the finish offers some protection, standing water will eventually seep in and leave a pale ring.

They have a total height of 105cm, so you should measure the clearance height under your table frame before buying. Most standard tables will accommodate them easily, but it pays to check.

Do not try to match the wood tones perfectly or it will look like an accident. Contrast is better, so pairing these with a darker or lighter wood table looks deliberate.

Keep the surrounding floor space clear. Because these chairs have high backs, they look best when they are not crowded by other bulky furniture.

How do I fix a minor scratch on the wood?
