These oak and fabric dining chairs are heavy, solid, and they will get scratched if your kids use them as climbing frames. That is just how real timber behaves.

The fabric seats are comfortable enough for a long Sunday roast, but if you drop gravy on them, you will have to scrub them. We do not sell magic self-cleaning fabric here.

We build the frames from solid oak. There are no cheap materials hidden under the seat, just proper joinery meant to hold a grown adult without wobbling.

You should measure your dining table before buying. These chairs have a bit of weight to them, so make sure you have enough gap between the table legs to slide them in.

They come pre-assembled because we do not think you should spend your Saturday afternoon arguing over flat-pack instructions.

How do I clean spills off the fabric? Blot it immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub it or use harsh chemicals, or you will ruin the fibres.

How long does standard delivery take? We get them to your door within 5 business days with full tracking.

Do I need to oil the oak frames? They come finished, so you do not need to do anything immediately. A light wipe with a dry cloth is usually enough.

What happens if a joint becomes loose? We use proper joints, but if anything fails structurally within five years, we will fix it or swap it out.

Can these chairs handle heavy daily use? Yes. They are solid timber, not flimsy hollow metal, so they can cope with daily family life.

How do I know if these chairs will fit under my table? Measure the height from the floor to the underside of your table top. Our chairs are 95cm high, so check your clearance.

Are these chairs delivered fully assembled? Yes, we build them in the workshop so you do not have to struggle with tiny hex keys.

Will the wood grain look exactly like the pictures? No, because real trees do not grow in identical patterns. Each chair has its own unique knots and grain lines.

How sturdy are these chairs compared to flat-pack options? They are much heavier and sturdier because they are glued and jointed in the workshop, not held together by cheap cams and screws.

How do I mix these oak chairs with a different wood table? Do not worry about an exact match. The fabric seats break up the wood tones, making it easier to pair them with darker or lighter tables.

Will these chairs make my small dining room look too cramped? They have a solid presence, so if space is tight, make sure you measure your floor space so people can still pull them out.

How do I fix a minor scratch on the oak leg myself? Use a fine-grit sandpaper gently on the scratch, then apply a tiny bit of clear furniture oil to blend it back in.
