Check the offer, not just the badge
Record the product name or code, selling price, date and any reference price shown. Compare the same model where possible, or tables with genuinely similar dimensions and construction. A crossed-out price alone does not show how often the item sold at that price or whether the current offer is unusually low.
Check voucher exclusions, minimum spending and whether offers can be combined. If a countdown or low-stock message creates urgency, finish your checks before paying. Compare the delivered cost
