Keeping the white gloss sideboard clean in a busy house

I have spent the best part of thirty years in a workshop covered in sawdust and wood glue, so when someone asks me about a white gloss sideboard, I usually give them a bit of a look. It is not oak, obviously. I know some of you want that bright, clinical look for a modern flat and I am not here to argue with your taste. It is practical, I suppose. Just do not go expecting it to behave like a piece of Oak Castle Furniture. This thing is a workhorse, not a family heirloom you are going to pass down to your grandkids.
