Is it actually solid wood all the way through? Yes. I don’t deal with bits of paper or shavings glued together. It’s solid timber from the top to the legs. It makes it heavy, but it also makes it last.

Does it come flat-packed? Most of our Sideboards and Chest of Drawers come fully assembled. I hate those little Allen keys as much as you do. Always check the specs though.

Will the wood change colour over time? Oak is a natural material. It mellows. If you put it in direct sunlight, it’ll lighten up a bit over the years. That’s just what real wood does.

Is it hard to look after? Not really. Keep it away from radiators so it doesn’t dry out too fast. Give it a bit of wax once or twice a year. It’s not rocket science.
