Description
Solid Wood Dining Chairs
Here are our rustic oak chairs.
They are heavy. If you drag them across a hard floor without putting felt pads on the feet first, they will scratch it. That is just how solid timber behaves.
No flimsy plastic here.
We make these with solid oak and a bit of real oak veneer where it makes sense for stability. They come fully assembled because I refuse to let you waste three hours of your Saturday squinting at a tiny hex key. They are built to survive kids kicking the legs and people leaning back at the dinner table.
Look, if you want something that looks new forever, buy plastic. This is wood.
Wood has knots, splits, and colour variations. Every single chair we ship out looks slightly different from the next one. We put a light lacquer on them to stop your spilt gravy from sinking into the grain immediately, but you still need to wipe up spills quickly.
If you need a table to go with these, check out our Kitchen section, or browse more seating options in our Kitchen Dining Chairs category.
“These chairs are solid as a rock. They survived my three boys climbing all over them. They are heavy to lift, but they don’t budge when you sit down.”

Questions You Might Have
How do I clean these chairs?
Just wipe them with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemical sprays, as they strip the protective lacquer.
When will they arrive?
Standard delivery takes up to five working days. You will get a tracking number to follow the progress.
Do they scratch easily?
They are tough, but they are still wood. Dragging sharp metal or keys across them will leave a mark.
Do I need to assemble them?
No. They arrive at your door fully built.
Are they heavy to move?
Yes, they have a lot of solid timber in them. Lift them properly rather than dragging them across the floor.
Will these chairs fit under a standard dining table?
The height is 105cm, so measure your table apron clearance first. Most standard tables handle them fine, but it pays to check.
Are they sturdy enough for daily family use?
Yes, we build them with proper joints. They do not wobble or creak when you sit down.
Why does the wood grain look different on each chair?
Because trees do not grow in a factory. You will see different patterns, small knots, and colour shifts on every piece.
How do I match these with my existing pine table?
Do not try to match the wood exactly. Let the darker oak stand out as a deliberate contrast against lighter woods.
How do I make a small dining room feel less cluttered with these?
These have high backs, so leave some physical space between them. Do not crowd too many around a tiny table.
What should I do if I get a minor scratch on the frame?
Get a wax repair crayon that matches the natural colour. Rub it into the scratch and buff it with a dry cloth.
